Let’s face it, High School is a trap
and what factor leads into that?
the concept of Trust
what is trust in high school?
Trust is one of the things that never gets taken seriously, but always is given because of the reassuring fact that they “won’t tell anyone.” when the person who has had said trust in their friend will later find out that it will bite them in the ass in about a couple of months. But hey, in turn you learn from your mistakes and start to put your trust in the people you are really close to, that way your secrets won’t get out right?
Wrong
now comes the worst part, having someone so close to you. Who has shared so many good memories or adventures or conversations about your past. Having that person betray that trust, is the worst feeling ever. Because that’s all of your faith, emotion, love, trust that has been betting on this one person, this one person who wouldn’t be like the ones who went behind your back before.
but you’re wrong
you went all in on a hand you thought would win the game, except you just got a pair of jokers. And now you’re stuck, cause who will you hang out with? who will you spend the days where you would be with them? you are all alone, all alone because you spent all your time with that person. Everyday a hangout, everyday an adventure.
and now
you’re trying to fix the broken machine of trust
and you’re stuck with the million dollar question: Why? why is it that this friendship, this bond that i have made with certain people can hold no value to them? what made them tell people? was it me? did I do something wrong? these questions delve into your mind and just orbit around in constant revolutions. So in this state of loneliness, you start to get new friends, but then they just do the same, nod and show that they care, whilst slowly gripping the knife in their palm. the blade shimmering wickedly as they prepare to replace old wounds with new ones.
So then you just stop, stop trying to make trust, stop trying to build it because who can build something with parts that are already broken? you start to become more lonesome and the happy freshman with the great outlook on high school has turned into quite the opposite.
but then people ask you what’s wrong, actually to make things even more interesting, the people who have screwed you over are asking you “why have you been so down lately?” “whats wrong dude?”, and you are just like “uh what the fuck dude?” (translation: “you know what’s wrong”).
and now you’re stuck
cause if you make friends, then friends build trust, but how will you know? how will you know when you will be the next victim?
and here you are
Trapped.
